Finally!

Well, this is my very first post!  I really need to learn more about how to make my blog pretty like all the wonderful blogs that I follow.  Please be patient while I learn.

I created this blog so that I can share my art.  Right now I am working on a totem pole for my daughter's 8th grade Luau.  I borrowed some tiki molds from a friend and created the totem segments using plaster gauze and a bit of plaster.  I still need to paint them and attach them to a column, but I think they look great so far; lots of detail!!  I also made a pig that will be roasting over a faux fire - too funny!
